Tech University of Korea wraps up job school for graduates with AI resume screening

Tech University of Korea’s University Job Plus Center has completed its 2026 TU Weekly Job School, which ran from June 1 to Aug. 6, 2026, according to a press release from the university.

The program was designed for graduates and was opened to young people in the surrounding area through cooperation with the Ansan Employment Center, the university said. Real-time online special lectures held over Zoom covered job analysis, organizing personal experience and strategies for writing cover letters, while one-on-one in-person consulting with professional consultants took place every Thursday at the KR Startup Lounge at Ansan Station.

The center also introduced an AI-based document completion system. According to the release, an AI cover letter diagnostic analyzes fit with the target job, strengths and weaknesses in each question and the proportion of AI-generated writing, with the results linked to tailored editing by professional consultants.

Outside the seasonal program, the center runs year-round services including one-on-one counseling with consultants assigned by department, cover letter and interview clinics, mentoring by people working in the field, and referrals to recruiters. Any graduate seeking a job or a career change, as well as young people in the region, may apply, and the university said it will continue to operate employment support programs that draw on local infrastructure.
